Dedicated to the memory of Leonard Nimoy (March 26, 1931 - February 27, 2015). Featuring ambient/electronic "film scores without films" in contrasting styles, these six tracks have emerged from the universal weirdness that surrounds us all. Buzzing grooves and eloquent tones form the foundation of a realm far beyond our grasp. From the exploration of inner/outer space and the attempt to capture the gaze of a real-life muse from half a world away, to the haunting desire for a future which can never be, "Loom of the Land Beyond" is the logical follow-up to 2013's "Long Shadows" and marks the continuing weird evolution of Distance to Jupiter.
